...Will we ever be settled? and... Am I completely nuts?...
The answer to question #1...
I am starting to think not...
We are currently having new carpet/flooring put down... Some of which we are doing ourselves, some pros are coming in to do. The carpet here was installed in 1979... Yep, you read that right... It was time... Alas, even with us doing some of the work, we can't afford to re-do the whole house at once so I got this hair-brained scheme to patch and paint the sub-floor in the living room, then put down a large LL Bean braided rug I already have... It is a temporary fix, but a much needed one... That being said, when you are doing flooring you have to move every piece of furnatue out of that room... What made me think we could hire out to do carpet in all three bedrooms in two days? Then us do the living room the following day? Have I totally lost it... Am I totally nuts? (Alas... the answer to question #2)
I am also painting several pieces of furniture... Why start another project right now you ask... 'cuz I'm nuts... I thought we'd established that...
Oh yeah and next week is VBS at the church we've been visiting and somehow I got roped into helping with set design... First Sparky wanted to help, and I was just supposed to be driving her to the church to help... but it was one adult, two teens and three pre-teens doing all the work... and said adult turns out to be a very nice woman who has genuine "friend" potential... I couldn't just drop her off with out saying that phrase that always gets me in trouble... "Is there anything I can do to help?"... (again...nuts...) I am having fun doing it... Can you believe they have never even heard of a Cricut?
On a positive note... The Axeman had a job interview today... For a really good job... It went really well... Please pray for the Lord's will in this... A company he used to work for when we lived in Maine several years ago has made it known they would like him back... The downside is they are about an 1 1/2 hour drive from my parent's house... With all the crisis that happen here regularly we would both like him closer then that... Not to mention we are sharing one older model car... so transportation would be a problem... The job he interviewed for today is literally 5 minutes from here... less if he hits the one red light just right... That would be a huge blessing... Oh and they have a company vehicle for him to drive... That would be another huge plus... I'll keep y'all informed...
I think I should sleep now...
Thanks for listening...

Back to the multi tasking projects I see! :) You are good at everything you do. Keep smiling. Glad you found a good friend at church. Praying for Axeman to get the job that would first be in the Lord's will, secondly best for your family. Love and Hug
