Think Before You Type...

... Is my new policy!

Earlier today I typed a post about generosity that was horrible... It was insulting but in the heat of the moment I typed it, hit publish and went to run errands... I shouldn't have and before I reached my first store I regretted it. I usually reread my posts several times before I hit publish, but today I was fired up by a heated discussion with Paul and one of his friends who dropped by this morning and let that tone set the tone of my post. I hoped nobody would see it and as soon as I got home I took it down. My stats said two people had read it, but countless others may have read it on their feed... (Including one of my closest bloggy friends who sent me an email, and I am really sorry that I hurt you.)

I am so sorry if you read it and are hurt by my words in anyway. Please forgive me.

  1. I've done that! I didn't see it so I can't comment on content but knowing you're heart I would have just thought you were having a rough day if I had read it.

  2. Honestly, it wasn't offensive-- it was just like, ya know-- I had to be all "here's my side of the story" blah blah blah. ;) Love ya girl.

  3. Honey I did read it. Was I offended? No. I felt you were sharing your heart and I always love that. It is great that you responded from God's prompting; that is an example we can all follow. I love you!!

  4. I read it. It's still in my feed, and I just re-read it. I'm not sure what the offensive part was, but I surely appreciate your conscientiousness and willingness to humble yourself and apologize. Hope you aren't feeling too bad about this!

  5. I read it also and did not think it was offensive in the least. You were speaking of your experience and your feelings on it all.

It was sweet of you to apologize if it did offend some.

    Have a great day!
