Listening to all these people you'd think they expect me to just leave my baby here...
Here she is all excited and nervous opening her dorm room for the first time...
She made me promise to wait to take pictures when it's all set up...
I haven't cried yet... I must admit I am not in the mood to joke around either...
She was all nervous for us to leave too...
That made it harder to leave. We will be going to get her for dinner tonight...
I can do this... I can leave her here... I think!
Are you checking out real estate in Bozeman this evening?!? Seriously though, I'm praying for you mama! -Allison P.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!! Also, it all feels slightly impossible while you're there with them, but as soon as you get home and get a phone call or skype message or a text, you realize it's going to be okay. Not saying there won't be any hiccups along the way, but mostly it will be okay. Plus, independent adult children are da bomb! And also, hate when their mothers use expressions like 'da bomb'. Somehow it fit though. Keep moving forward.
ReplyDeleteYes you can! Plus, it's so rewarding to see them thriving and loving their independence even if we're home waiting for the next call. :) Don't say 'goodbye,' say ~ I'll talk to you tomorrow. Somehow it helps to make the last hug have less of a 'final' feeling.
