My Word of the Year...

Thursday, December 31, 2015

"Dwell" is my word for 2016... I love this Emily Dickinson quote... So hopeful. My verses for this year both offer peace & rest when we "dwell" in the right things...

Psalm 91:1 "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty."

Psalm 23:6 "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

This year I will dwell on possibility by dwelling on the Lord first in all situations. HIS plan shall be my only goal for 2016!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Thanks for listening

  1. I love it - and this verse, too:
Psalm 37:3 - Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness (NASB)
NIV has ... "and enjoy safe pasture", which is also good. But I love the idea of cultivating faithfulness.
    Happy New Year!

  2. PERFECT! I think we often forget to just "dwell" in the things God has for us as we are so busy running to & fro instead of dwelling. God bless in 2016. I can't wait to see you in a few weeks!! WOOT!!

  3. I love this! I am carrying over "relationship" again this year as my word/theme. :)
