One beaver thought his eyes were deceiving him...
It is his lucky day...

After years of looking on from the river, he couldn't believe his luck....
As the water rose he knew what his first stop would be... He knew most of his friends would be headed to the lumber yard down the street, but he knew where he was headed...
At long last they finally had a swim-up Lasaters coffee...

Alas... it is closed so the world will never know what kind of coffee a beaver would order given the chance...
Yes, I do think he looks kinda disappointed...
Thanks for listening,
Too funny! Some things you just gotta laugh at. I'm hoping things return to (as much as they can) normal as quickly as possible in your corner of the world.
ReplyDeleteYikes! :) I remember a post you did awhile back . . . you love your coffee! :)
ReplyDeleteI think beavers probably prefer their espresson straight up... maybe over ice... that may be just me...
ReplyDeleteLove the humor esp during this time.
Thanks for that.
These are priceless! In a few years, the flood will be a fading memory, but the photos and stories will help us to remember all the mercies for which we are grateful.

ReplyDeleteWhen life gives you lemons, make a skinny sugar free caramel latte, hold the whip. I saw these pics on FB and was talking about them to fellow Lasatter coffee customers at the Wilma location. Thanks for the pics! I always like groundhogs, now I know why! Wishing you all the best in this time.
ReplyDeleteFunny!
