It was a huge success...
(If you ignore the fact most of the decorations fell down just before we opened the door...
Long story I'll bore you with later!)
I am totally wiped out, but I wanted to give y'all a peek...
This was the picture I made the Girlies pose for...
This one was for Momma...

The rest of these are pictures taken by some of the kids that came...
I didn't take the time to edit these...
Please note...
these are...
all...
unsocialized...
maladjusted...
weirdo...
homeschoolers...
How will they survive the "real" world?
I love these kids... they are amazing...
Each and every one of them...
To see them all dressed up... smiling... dancing...
I hope they had fun, because it was truly one of the best nights of my life...
I am glad my team of dedicated hard workers and I could do this for them!
Wow! This is so super awesome! My girlies are a ways off but one day...Blessings to you!

btw Your girls are beautiful!
Love, love, LOVE these photos! I admire that you are homeschooled--and I get so annoyed when people just "assume" that homeschoolers are unsocialized, etc...are they serious?
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear all about it--it brought back memories of being a teen again :)
xoxo honey.
Oops--I meant to say that you homeschool--I'm a little tired today :)

GREAT job, rebecca! your girls look gorgeous (of course!)
ReplyDeleteand you know what? looking through these pix, before reading your five faves post on prom plans, i said to myself, "hey, that looks like the vineyard!"
:)
This is so wonderful! I'm glad that your "maladjusted" children could enjoy a night of "normal" for once...HAHAHA! But, honestly, this is going to be a great memory for those kids and they are lucky to have someone like you willing to put in the time to make it happen!
ReplyDeleteEla had a fantastic time! What a blast. Personally I think it was better than any ps dances I have heard about lately! Everyone looked lovely in their dress up clothes! :) Thank you to all who helped, & especially to you Rebecca... you out did yourself! I am thrilled my daughter was able to participate in this lifetime memory. I think we ought to have one every year from now on. yeah and they say home school kids are socially inadequate! haha. AMAZING, Absolutely wonderful event. Love you, Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLooks like they enjoyed themselves. It's great that you all put this together for them.
ReplyDeleteWow! You did it! I'm so glad they had such a great time and I'm so proud that I actually know you. You're amazing. The girls looked really pretty too.
